Today I went to a music festival in my state, where music of all kinds where there.
I went there with my friend Blaise, and before I went there I took a pill and a half of Amphetamine just so that I could be buzz the whole night.
After we got there we met up with a girl he met not too long ago, and I'm glad that I hooked them up together.
Soon after that Me, Blaise, the girl, and a couple of our other friends rode the elevator up to the top of a parking tower and just relaxed.
The wind destroying my hair and the sun gently touching my face felt great.
The weather outside was very tolerable and it was a great day for this event to be held.
I estimate we all sat up there for about two hours before we came down and went to one of the many stages that bands were playing at.
We reached the bottom of the parking tower and found our way to the stage where a band called "Givers" was expecting to play. I've seen their band on Facebook before, but I've never heard of their music, so I was a little excited to see them live I suppose.
While listening to Givers, I realised one thing. Music unites us. Everyone listens to music, and theres no way NOT to enjoy music.
Music is an amazing way to express yourself and your feelings.
This isn't a thread about music, world peace, or to not do drugs, so I guess this could be a rant.
While I was listening to Givers' first or second song maybe, I really started developing this rant of mine.
If everyone loves music, and the musicians put so much effort into doing their job, then why isn't everyone happy?
I know we are all humans, and it is hard to keep one set of emotions for a period of time.
I try my best to make everyone around me happy, by doing this it makes me feel good about myself, really good about myself.
I know that I don't make everyones day perfect, putting that out there because not everyone may accept me for who I am.
Just stop being a bully, don't steal from people who can't afford to be stolen from, and make the right choice when the choice is needed to be made.
No, Givers is not a Christian band, so please don't give me any bullshit about me converting to a Christian now, because I've been a Christian before I heard of this band.
This probably won't affect your life at all by reading this, and that's ok. I'm not sitting here right now typing all of this to do that.
I would be completely happy if just want at least one person out of everyone who reads this, just one, to do the right thing when the next option to is given to you.
It could be to reply to this thread or flame me, it could be between going watch tv to watch Adventure Time or going take a shower. Hell, it might even be to kill a group of civilians (but I hope you aren't going to ever face that choice) or a family member.
But whatever the situation is, just know that there is always someone out there caring for you, and there is definitely someone looking up to you. You are someone's role model, you just don't notice it.
You are influencing the people around you and yourself, you can easily change your life and the way that you are accepting it, and take control of it.
With this being stated, maybe someday you might wake up and try to set your life back on track if it already isn't. Every single person reading this has the ability to change their lifestyle.
If you can't then you either aren't trying hard enough or you need to try harder than you have before, and push the limits to get what you desire. You might have to sacrafice a little, or a lot, but if you want to do it, then it should be worth your time in the long run. I'm not a rich kid, I haven't been handed everything that I asked for, and I was born to accept what I had, and to be thankful for it. I am thankful for everything I have, and I don't hate my life or how it's being planned. We all need to learn from each other, we all need to fix our mistakes. We need to work together and learn to drop our differences, because it isn't going to get you anywheres in the future.
Learn to love one another, accept what you once have denied, and don't let anything stop you.
If anyone ever needs any support, guidance, or anything at all, I am always here to talk to, and I will do anything in my power to help each and every person that is willing to accept it.
