Agreed, btw thank you so much for letting him know. I would have felt like a real dick if he ended up buying a new battery only to find out his issue was still there. Have a nice day and OP please keep me updated.
 
I took it into Best Buy and they plugged in a different charger and it charged. I'm going to try and get Dell to send me out a charger for free but if that doesn't work I'll just buy one. Thanks for your help guys.

there sending me a new charger for free. YAY
