My suggestion would be to call somebody who is a professional (as somebody already said). Haven't heard of this problem ever happening.

I also have comcast, they have shit speeds.
My package atm is 40mbps up/10 down and have about 9up/1down, they also will not try to fix it as thats "all they can do".
Your best bet is upgrading your router and rewiring your network to strengthen speeds, not sure you would do that though.

i have a really good router and wired all my things as best as i can. there internet is just shit. hopefully ill be switching soon.

Yeah they are a horrible provider, although not many places in my area are much better lol.
