When I first joined ForumKorner I thought the site was the best around, I found it through HF. I wasn't very active unlike some of the people I remember from here, I remember when Juvi jacked Gr33ds account 1 1/2 months after I joined here. I personally thought the site was great and couldn't get any better, The theme was great and the member 'Poop' always made me giggle when I saw his trolling posts on here. I started up my own forum which was the only thing I was focusing on for about 2 months then a friend of mine (Jacob) reminded me about the site. Not much had gone on there was all the Market Forums commotion going on and Quad got demoted from staff etc. I browsed as a guest for a while to see if the community was friendly etc, It seemed very friendly so I joined. I remember telling HaZe about ForumKorner (He now goes by the name of CRATE).
When the Donator group was still around I decided to upgrade as Philly was doing a deal, That was my first upgrade on the site. The first person I negged was Cypher for some reason, I can't remember why I guess I disliked him for something he posted :?. When Philly gave everybody who was a Donator Onyx I was very happy. Several weeks later I upgraded to Power, I am currently awaiting my stats to get better so I can upgrade to Power + but of course that can wait
I remember Phantom,Uzi and Phenom being mods of the site. I thought they were great mods on the site, They were always very helpful and friendly towards upgraded/non-upgraded members etc. I used to like Quad when he was staff as I thought he did a good job, The only other staff member I can remember is Dean Winchester. Now there are new staff, I think it was maybe in August when Jimmy became a staff member. Now Ocean is staff, I think the new staff are still doing a good job.
Now we all know about reputation on the forum it's a given really. A new member can join and get 300 rep within 3 days, To me reputation doesn't mean anything on here as it's pretty easy to give and get to and from members. I personally think users can give too much reputation I think Onyx should be able to give +3 and Power +5 and Power+ +7. Also I don't see why people think users are trusted because of the green number of reputation on their profile and when they get scammed say 'I thought they were trusted because they had good reputation points'.
The site is still progressing and one day I believe the forum will hit 1,000,000 posts but that could be a while because FK has 450 active members or so (I don't know I'm estimating, Don't question me on this). I believe the admins do a good job but the rep removing should be stopped as there is no point in having the reputation system if you can report valid rep and have it removed because you don't like a red colour on your reputation page. The staff are fine I think Jimmy and Ocean are the only staff at this current moment. I hope to become staff one day but it probably won't happen. The theme on here is great, When it first was put on FK it put me off the whole site and I didn't like visiting as the theme was laggy on my PC for some reason. The current member base is always growing but most of them are ban evaders/multiple accounts or scamming mongolians.
