Well, I've been wanting to record for awhile now so I set out to earn some Amazon and finally start a dream of mine. What I'll be saving for is the Elgato Game Capture HD, the newest PVR Device specifically built for gaming. I originally planned on buying a PVR, but when I heard about this, I just had to get it. Compared to the PVR, it's only marginally better in quality and color, but where it really shines is it ease of use and features. While the PVR is rather bulky and has a lot of wires, the Elgato is no bigger than an Ipod, and it has very few cables. It's power source is a USB connected to the Laptop or computer, and an HDMI cord goes from your system into the Elgato, and on the adjacent end another HDMI cord goes from the Elgato to your TV. It's as simple as that, plus you also have the option for component cable to use for system that don't support HDMI, like the Wii, PS2, and Nintendo 64. The recording software is free, and crazy simple. It even has ghost recording, so while it's plugged in it captures everything you do, and you can go back to whatever time and record only what you want, just so you don't have to lose out on anything. I still can't do it justice, so I suggest you check out one of the reviews on youtube. Onto the point though, I'd like to get an Elgato to start recording for YT as it'll give me something productive to do, and it's been a big dream of mine. What I'd like to do with it would be recording playthrough's of Classics and Newer games, like Ocarina of Time and Paper Mario to newer game like Max Payne 3 and Mass Effect 3 (the majority of these won't be having commentary so people can really appreciate the story and gameplay), to recording multiplayer gameplay like my first few matches of Halo 4, to recording for you guys here at FK. If you have something saved in theater mode or you'd like to hop in a lobby and go for some awesome stuff like public trickshots, let me know and I'll definitely be up for it. At the moment, I'm just over halfway of my fund and I'd like to keep you guys updated here with a log, and hopefully this will keep me motivated to keep pushing for the Elgato.

Sep. 16th - Sold Chronos to Twilight, got $100 LR in return. After some transfer fees from receiving and sending the funds to a trusted exchanger on HF, I ended up with $98.10 in Amazon funds.
Oct. 1st - Using http://naturebucks.com/home (GPT) to try and earn some Amazon. signed up at 11:10, had just over $1 by 12:10 with minimal work combined with eating, showering, and homework, and decided to order an Amazon GC. I ended up receiving it at 1:10. I was happy and slept, woke up around 2 in the afternoon. Decided to go for another GC, and 2 high-paying offers later I had over $1 and decided to order another. This one came faster at about 15 minutes. Took a break, and did a few more offers. Around 11 that night 2 offers both worth 0.50 credited me so I had another dollar, and I ordered another GC. This one came a little later at around 20 minutes. I currently have $101.10 in Amazon funds. Hopefully I can sell some tags and work my way up a bit faster, but at the moment this is going pretty good.
Oct. 7th - Sold a member my turboing program for $20 Amazon so he could learn coding and work off of it. I'll be selling 4 other copies to reach my goal of $200 for my Elgato and fast shipping.
Oct. 8th - Sold the second copy of my program to Toby, now I'm up to $141.10. I've also managed to get another $15 LR transferred to Amazon, currently up to $155.95. I can't believe I'm this close
Oct. 9th - It's official, I've ordered my Elgato! I sold the last copy of my program along with a very nice stat account to Beats for $30, and along with a $10 coupon I was up to 195.95, which was just enough to get my Elgato shipped from Amazon with 1- Day Shipping I'm extremely excited, and I hope to play with a bunch of you guys here and help with any recording needed.
