My cat died :'c

I shared this on another forum but I guess I'll share it here too, yesterday my cat died because someone idiot ran it over and didn't even bother to stop and let anyone know or to search to see who owned it. I had to go out in the evening to search for it and found it laying there in the road, his name was Waffles, the best pet I've ever owned.

I'm not sure if I should get another pet or not :'(

As to if you should get another cat. If you can move on from what happened to Waffles, and let it go, I say get another cat. I just wouldn't let it outside anymore, or just let it out in your backyard and keep an eye on him/her.
