My Alerts are stuck at (5)

So for about 4, 5 days now, my alerts have been stuck at 5 and I don't know why. 

Can anyone help me?
PS: When I get a new alert, it goes to 6 and so on.
But then goes back to 5

I cleared my Cache and Cookies, it's the site that's doing it not my browser

Have you tried the Clear all alerts? (Excuse me if I'm being daft and missed something)

Haha, I'm also stuck at three.

Its because the max amount of alerts to display is 5 therefore you have to manually go to profile then go to alerts
