It's the same thing? You pay for the codes with IRL money and then use them on your account. I honestly don't see why Microsoft felt the need to change MSP to local currency, but it really doesn't change anything. All of the DLC is the same price.

Sometimes the things are a bit cheaper for example india sometimes has way cheaper prices for games
