Well I've decided since, I wanted to be a unique Group owner I thought I would have a competition for 2 of the 7 spots remaining in Monster therefore here's the second competition for the second spot! I'm starting to believe in order to join a group you should have earned it and not simply sucked up to the owner.
Now this one should be rather easier then the one before, simply post here a selfless act you've done for someone completely random, I think humanity lacks that aspect in life.
Cheers, winner will be chosen at random, this competition will end on Janruary 3rd so good luck to everybody!
This may sound personal, but I joined the Navy to serve our country and fuck ISIS up. And that's exactly what I'm doing. I'll be deployed on to the USS Carl Vinson which is in Bahrain near Saudi Arabia, bombing ISIS right now.
So yeah... I guess protecting America is my selfless act...
I've previously helped a few homeless people during christmas with a few friends. This included giving them food, a few new clothes and getting them a room for the night.
Every Christmas me and my girlfriend go downtown and deliver "Care packages" to homeless people to help them through the holidays. These include necessities such as "food, toothpaste , toothbrush,
Blankets, sleeping bags, clothes, winter gloves and a surprise Christmas present"
I always try to help people out when they are in need. Let's say I like to bring @Joy into their life!
So one day I saw this person (who you could tell he was doing drugs and was homeless) and decided
to talk to him and ask him how he got like this. He told me that his parents were divorced and he hated
his dad. His dad would beat him for nothing. So he became homeless.....He started doing painkillers. Then
he became addicted. He would hold a sign saying "Need money for food" but every cent he had went into
buying more drugs. I felt so bad for him so I asked him if he wanted something to eat. He said, "I don't have
any money." So I told him I will pay but, he insisted that he would. It just makes me so happy that people that
have nothing are more willing to share then people that have everything. Anyways, we went to this pizza place
near where he was staying at. And I bought him a whole pizza and I had three slices. When we where leaving I
bought him another pizza so he could eat dinner later that night. After we left he showed me where he slept and
where he used to sleep. The place he used to sleep which are now covered with small spikes so people can't sleep
there.
I felt so bad for him. I didn't know how I could help this man. I wanted to be the one to turn his life around. So the
next couple of days I was looking for a job for him to do whilst he was holding signs for nickles and dimes. I finally
found him a job at a construction site. I told the owner what he has been through and he decided to let him work.
He is now no longer homeless and has an apartment. He has a job. And now his off the drugs. His name was John.
I feel like this is the nicest thing I have ever done in my life. And I am really happy to hear what you guys/girls have
done to bring @Joy into other people's lives!
On Twitter, saw a mutual follower tweeting about how his family was struggling. He was ranting. I understood his position because my family was struggling but now we're somewhat settled so I sent him $200 and it just made him happy. Small things like that definitely make an impact
I live in a some-what small, tight, well-knit community, and there are quite a few homeless people. There was one, his name was Jordan. He wasn't like any of the rest, who lost their jobs or never had a job, due to alcohol or drug addictions, he was simply laid off. He was a respectable guy, that didn't hate those who had more then he had. Anyway, I helped him get off the ground, and I set him up with a very basic apartment (I'm not super wealthy), and I helped him look for a job. He now has a job at Amazon, and is doing well.
