I do not intend to aim this at Rune Gear's user base due to fact I'm presuming majority of you do not have the intention of viewing or playing MineCraft.

What type of videos would you believe bring in the most subscribers or viewers?

Guides.
Comedies.
Commentary.
Episodes.
Etc.

Please suggest, thank-you.

Also - any recommendable screen recorders?
 
Commentaries, comedies and episodes are the most popular, so I suggest doing these 3 mainly.

Also, a good screen recorder is Fraps (torrent it).

No, depending how long you're recording.
 
Hopefully not, last time I recorded 30 seconds of a source game, the outcome of the file was incredibly large.

Maybe you didn't had the right settings? Or use Bandicam.
 
my youtube views thread would bring in a lot of subs / views :)

theres a lot of minecraft video makers out there, do something unique :)
 
I use camtasia studios. It's better than fraps in certain ways, primarily because you won't have to torrent sony vegas along with it.
 
i have a download for cracked sony vegas pro? best video editing software imo.

but i'd use camtasia to record.
 
I would love that sony vegas cracked :) Hopefully I can make some sexy vids with it :)

Don't use Fraps or any other shitty recording program. Go to The Pirate Bay and search "Dxtory", Just look for the latest version with the most seeders.

I had a shitty toshiba laptop, I get an average 130 fps on Minecraft, Recording with Dxtory brought it down to about only 100-125 fps.

Also, for the type of videos - Do commentaries and lets plays.
