I know it's getting a little bit old but what are your opinions on this?

To me, I think Microsoft made a smart move to acquire Skype because Skype is growing rapidly fast.
Only disadvantage to people who use it is probably that there are going to be lots of ads going around because, well... it's Microsoft xD

Yeah, I personally think that Microsoft won't die, it'll just keep gaining money until the end of the world...unless some big crash happens and Microsoft losses billions.

Will you ever use Skype? I personally don't use Skype since Msn still exists.

But due to the fact that Microsoft bought Skype, I think msn will be gotten rid of and Skype will take over, most probably.
