MFW Kicked from Trap and Kawaii

It isn't impossible. But with the capping of members at a maximum of 8, the posting requirements, the profile requirements, it's abundantly hard to convince me to let just anyone right on in.

So just because its a "solid" number?
Why not just find members who fit your criteria , no matter the number? I can already see that subforum being completely dead.
In the thread it looks like members are purely based off the pixels on their profile, not their post etiquette or personality.

Magic, Trap and I constantly talk in it lol, we have well over 1,000 posts and talk all the time. He just doesn't want 20 random people in his group, I wasn't speaking for him about the whole solid number.

I put a lot of thinking into why I wouldn't want 6, 7, 9, & 10. For some reason when I added it all up, that number 8 worked for me.

(To save any confusion: I (myself) don't count towards the 8 members in the group.) So technically, there will be a maximum of 9 total members at any given time.

Once there are 10 members+, people stop posting in the sub-forum, about 1/4 of the users invited are not representing the group, etc.

I noticed when people are kicked from a group, they get very mad. I also noticed it took some users 5 whole days to realize they were kicked and send an angry message over ole' Trapples way. Because they lurked their "Misc" section & saw it wasn't in their list anymore. [Not that they ever even wore/represented it in the first place.]

I'm going to be revamping not only the name, image, etc. I am trying to change the way groups are thought of as a whole.

I understand what you are saying, but why put a number on it? Get a feel for what will work and will still keep the group exclusive, and who cares if someone gets mad? They weren't active, they get kicked. Thats how it should work.

And thats very ignorant to think that the number of members changes the activity. The only thing that can increase the activity is more members. If they aren't active kick them and find replacements. If you can't find anyone that fits the requirements, then

There is what, upwards to like 40 groups now? 5 or so that are so old and unused that they're no longer in the User Group section of the Control Panel?

So yeah, you're completely fucking right Vlad. I can only imagine the value per group if it was slaughtered down to 10-15 total user groups... Let's just say I'd be hitting the mall.

Fam if that 5 Whole Day thing was directed at me than you cray cray, cause I recently switched out of the Trap UB for the Monster one. I wore Trap most because I liked it and I never really wore the Kawaii one excluding the day I joined. I liked the community in Trap even if it was a bit small. I look forward to applying for your new group when / if I reach the requirements. GL
