The aim of Merchants is unlike any other usergroup you've seen on ForumKorner before. Our group's forum will function as a private marketplace; which means you have to be a member of the group in order to see what is being sold or place something up for sale.

Let me stop you, most of you probably know that we have a private marketplace for members only, and you're probably wondering how this is any different or better than it? Well first of all, not only is that section dead because no one uses it, but anyone with a bit of money can upgrade and see that forum, potential scammer or not. The members in this group are going to be handpicked by me, I will do my best to make sure only HQ members get accepted.

Think about it. A bunch of HQ members with their own group for selling and buying social mediums/real life items/gamertags/ANYTHING ELSE (as long as it's not against the site rules, obviously.) In this group you can sell anything you'd like and keep it away from the prying eyes of most turboers/scammers (as we know there are a few exceptions like terror squad and others that change up on us, can't really do anything about that, now can I?)


This group will have a $8 dollar or 8k koin fee to join (That's less than half the price of an upgrade to Onyx/Power) but you cannot just buy in to this group. Your application has to be accepted first, and once you're approved to join you would then send the payment to my PP/btc address or donate the koins. If you think this is ridiculous/dumb/LQ/then just leave the thread now. Unlike some other groups that have buy-ins; Merchant's is not pointless and owned by someone who is running a group for profit only. I don't really need to explain my reasoning to you on why I'm requiring a membership fee, so if you're going to complain then you definitely don't belong anyways.

Why you would be interested in becoming a member: Like yourself and others, I have become a merchant on FK, and plan on staying one. I am quite the business man and have always been one since I have started working in sales.
Goals and aspirations online/real life: To have an honorable job that makes some decent money to provide for a family.
What you like to do in your free time: Clean my room, work out, go on FK, just try to spend any valuable time I have doing something rather than nothing.
Do you have any talents/skills: I have great people skills which provides me a sense of business. I am all about the money, and the people skills.
How active are you on FK: Pretty damn active, LOL. I have tons of people who can vouch for that as well.
Anything else you'd like to add: Being a merchant not only will help provide me with the reputation, but I want to help other merchants as well. Being active and supportive of my groups has helped me thus far.​

It's an exclusive market for the more high quality members of FK. Like the regular marketplace, no one has to be interested in what you're selling. But if you put a bunch of high quality members who like to buy/sell stuff in a group together you're most likely going to find high end stuff that they might not post anywhere else/find people who won't waste your time/find people who actually have money to spend. Spend money to make money.

IMO better than paying 10 dollars to get into gods which has little to no purpose whatsoever.

A private marketplace is designed to be exclusive to those who are trusted.

If a person can't sell something in the Merchant's marketplace, then that's not the group's fault, likewise if somebody is a known turbo'er, and I doubt they'd even get into the group to begin with.

3) I would like to become a member of the Merchants because I have things to sell that I would not like to release to the public. I would love to learn how people make money and possibly buy things of. I want to join this exclusive group generally because I had no money a week ago, and since then I have bought and sold things for a good profit. I believe I could learn a lot from this group.

I never said it would help you faster. It's SAFER, it's quality over speed. Also it's obviously not strictly a marketplace, I'll have lounge threads etc. That's just the main goal. A safe, exclusive marketplace.

Why you would be interested in becoming a member: I look around a lot and see lot's of new members trying to sell or buy things, but if you try help them they will just get annoyed or not even consider what you say. I would also like to become a member because i am a big buyer on ForumKorner and like to buy quality items.
Goals and aspirations online/real life: My goal on here is to try and get good quality social mediums and get a good gamertag. In real life i'm 21 got a girlfriend, my own house etc and i would like to start a family in a few years.
What you like to do in your free time: My free time consists of this site and going out with my girlfirend/friends this is what i enjoy the most.

Why you would be interested in becoming a member: I wanna join this because I started FK solely for the fact, I wanted to sell some SM's. Having a good private marketplace exclusively with educated merchants such as myself would allow me to enhance my sales and earnings.

Why would I like to become a member? Well, the main reason is that I am active in the marketplace, and I feel a group like this suits my profile and my activity on the forum.
Goals and Inspirations? Well, for one, I hope to go to Ohio University for Engineering and Design. I also inspire to make it to the NBA, which seems unrealistic, but you never know unless you put your mind and heart to it, right?
What do I like to do in my free time? Well, I have more free time since basketball season is over for me until November, I am either playing Xbox with my IRL/online friends since it's too damn cold to do anything outside here, or I am doing school work.
Do I have any talents or skills? Nothing that really stands out, I play basketball and I've always enjoyed playing baseball, if those are skills, haha.
