I have been appointed, on the 18th of March to meet with my surgeon and he will help me walk again! I realised that this is on FK's anniversary, how perfect. :D

Around 10 minutes ago, I used my crutches and put minimal pressure on the injured leg and I was able to walk perfectly! This makes me so happy, it seems so quick at how all this has happened with the surgery, etc.

18 days guys.

But that is good that you are actually stressing yourself first before you go under the knife. I'm proud of you.

Cheers, brother! I thought it would be best to at least do baby steps at the moment so when the time comes I won't be as scared and I will be that little bit more prepared.

See, that is the idea to recovery!

Nowadays its all about "taking a pill". Your back hurts, take a pill. You feel sick, take a pill. You're depressed? take a pill. I absolutely HATE that shit. My mother is a prescription drug abuser and I am totally against that shit. Although I take things for ADHD/ADD and some minor anit-depressants, I am leaning off every fucking pill I take.

I refuse pain meds whenever I go to the doctor for pain/surgery. I would gladly take Tylenol/Advil over any script for pain. I have a large tolerance for pain, so I can deal with it. Plus, if you deal with the pain/suffering, it only causes your brain to deal with it, hence making pain more bare able.

It's all in our minds.

Exactly! I dislike anything medicinal, but I have to take them without overdosing. I need meds for my ODD.

Yeah I mean, taking medicine for your mental disabilities is fine, like I have ADD/ADHD so that is something you cannot fix in your own mind, it IS a mental disability. Coming now that I am 20 years old and finding out I have it was not something I planned on.. I wish I was checked when I was younger so that my grades in school could have been better and whatnot. Not to say they were bad, but I could definitely have pushed a 4.0 GPA with this crack medicine they give me now for concentration. I was so upset and heart-broken to find out that I had this mental problem.. But I guess it can only make me stronger as a person.

Good to hear Michael! Hopefully you don't break your ankle again anytime soon :p

Congratulations dude! That's awesome to hear , I hope you are doing alright :)
