Devon Staples aged 22, sadly died instantly from a freak firework incident. Devon was celebrating the fourth of July with his friends while drinking and setting off fireworks. The incident took place on Saturday night in the backyard of a friends home in the small eastern Maine city of Calais. 

Staples, 22, of Calais, placed a fireworks mortar tube on his head and set it off, McCausland said. 

The firework exploded, killing Staples instantly.

Well thats stupid, the only fun thing I like to do with fireworks is shoot Roman Candles at each other.

I'm pretty sure I have never strapped or played with any dangerous object that had a great chance of harming me.

And even if you are intoxicated you can still make good choices if you aren't acting like a dip shit
