I gave it a listen.

It is shit. But then again I didn't expect mush since it was a logic album.


His whole fanbase consists of faze dick riders.

I like you. And yes, 85% are FaZe dickriders. But it's the simple fact that these kids nowadays have nothing to compare it to. To them, they see logic and they're like "OMG he's so good his lyrics are amazing his flow is sick etc...." But it's only because they haven't listened to guys that are actually TALENTED. People from the 90s. And even 80s in some cases (example onyx or even das Efx) . It's not their fault that they don't know real rap, it the fact that there aren't any real rappers left so they all flock to the "best of the worst" so to speak.
 
I pre ordered it. It wasn't the worst thing I've heard, but it wasn't all that great. I say buy it and give it a listen. It has like 3 decent songs and is fairly cheap.

I highly recommend the album by G-Eazy called "These Things Happen", or "Kindest Regards" by Witt Lowry (Formerly known as Witty).

I bought it. I have a lot of iTunes money. I thought it was pretty good. I enjoy his music, I enjoy new school, and I enjoy old school. That being said, your comparison of the two, stating that one is "real" and the other isn't good because it doesn't parallel it, is ridiculous. They're entirely different genres, and whether you like it or not, the latter is relevant, while '90s hip hop has taken the back seat, so to speak.

I suggest you listen to the albums "It was written" , "2001" , "get rich or die trying" , "illmatic", "blueprint", "reasonable doubt" , "ready to die" . The list goes on but those are good starters.

Well, true that xD lmfao.

If someone wants real and new, I think Hopsin, G-Eazy, and Witt Lowry would be the go to artist.

On topic: Logic isn't bad, I like more of his earlier work, and he wouldn't be anywhere without FaZe. That doesn't mean he's bad, but he's not all that great. There are plenty of other rappers who deserve that kind of fame and just haven't gotten it yet.

I only understand about half of that but let me address your points. Hip hop isn't what it used to be. That's exactly what I'm saying, and you agree with me. You haven't studied rap like I have, nor will you acquire the knowledge that I have. I'm not trying to start an argument. I simply state facts and people choose and interpret what they please from those facts.


I will make it simple for you. Nobody respects rap anymore. There aren't good rappers. You can name drop kendrick and logic all day it doesn't change my mind. There are a few underground rappers who have a glimmering hope to be some sort of a revival but even then it's not certain. Rap wasn't meant to be a cess pool of arrogant children. I don't want to write an essay but please Kik me if you want me to write you a book.

Chief Keef is ass as hell boi. I'm glad he got dropped from his label. He doesn't deserve a deal when WAY better rappers are out there that are unsigned.

Kendrick is pretty good but the songs he's been putting out lately are ass tbh.

Eminem is just ass

Lil Wayne Used to be nasty, idgaf. He fell off now, but like 5-6 years ago he was pretty good.
