If humans found a way to live forever, would you want to? It would be cool because you wouldn't need to work all your life, but it would suck because it would get so boring in like 1000 years..

I would do it. It wouldn't get boring for me because, no one can kill me. I would do what ever the hell i want.
 
^ Unless by living forever means aging but never dying, then I guess that would suck if you were like 1000 years old and couldn't even breath but still wouldn't die x.x
 
Even if I stayed in my prime with the ability to keep on living, I would not want to live forever.
Not to sound like a weirdo or anything... but without death, what's the point of life?

You guys are bullshitting, I bet $100 if a scientist found a way to do this, you'd be doing it within a heart beat, it would be kick ass living forever.
 
Depends if you would actually age, if you wouldn't age then yes, But if you would age, no.

If you lost legs/arms or w.e You would still be living
So If I were invincible and could love forever Then Yes I would


But just living for ever No I wouldn't
 
Arguably I would in some circumstances. If I:
Didn't age normally, perhaps at a very slow rate
Wasn't the only one (who wants to be the only one at the end of time?)

Now I know it's a small list but that's not the point. I doubt it would be like that, watch/read Tuck Everlasting. It'd be crushing to see everyone you love die. Love would be fruitless because they'd perish before you.
 
I wouldn't want to live forever, cause once you've done every thing like 100 times then it would start to lose the excitement and you'd want to die :p
 
I would do it just to watch human race develop and see all the problems that we have and how we over come them or conversely, how they overcome us.
 
I would definately do it, ageing would be a problem though
 
I'm kinda torn as its sorta hard to give a true answer since i've not been around like 30-40 years so as it stands i'd say yes. But in Philosophy we had this debate and my teacher (who is about 50 but acts 20) says he'd never want to live forever.

But it would be cool to skydive without a parachute and just walk away when you hit the ground:p
 
If people could live forever the world would be so over populated. I think the world would be a horrible place if EVERYONE could, if it was just me then yes, I would want to live forever. I assume my thoughts on the matter would change after watching my loved ones die and being left alone.
