Linux Mint 11

Should I install Linux Mint 11 on my computer? This will be the first time I am using any operating system other than windows. So what do you guys suggest?

there is a chance it will fuck over your computer and you have to reset it, and windows has alot more compatible stuff then linux

Stick to windows, there really isn't a good reason to switching.

I really like how mint looks though. It looks cleaner and sleek. :3

I'd rather have something I know and has more compatibility, then something I like the look of, but don't know and it could cause me to have to reset my computer.

Just my opinion, though.

Well I am planning on resetting my computer so wipe it clean, so I was thinking why not?

Why don't having both.
I used to have Ubuntu and Windows XP in my laptop.
But it started to slow down so I took out Ubuntu.
If you have 2 disks (C:/, /), you can install it in /
