Not really church music. They just grew up, and are not angry at the world teenagers anymore.

Its all perception. There is a recurring pattern among bands that "grow up" or "evolve" (Code words for going mainstream) and there music becomes progressively shittier in the eyes of there original die hard fans, not people that jumped on the wagon late in the game. Thats how I view it.
