OK, here's the deal. I don't know if management will allow what I'm about to propose but if not, I'll get warned and have my thread junked.

For the more active members, I'm sure you've been made aware of the recent events that took place with regards to members being demoted and banned because of the latest contest. If you haven't, PM me and I'll explain what went down.

I'm not here to reason with anyone, prove my case or try to convince anyone otherwise. I just want this thread to be for everyone that either has an issue with me or what I did recently to tell me about it. I won't try to argue with you on it. I'm going to try to address everyone's concerns and questions without prejudice or bias. I've already been demoted and stripped of my position as the lobby mod because of what happened so there's no reason for me to cause problems anymore.

If you have a question you'd like to ask me; what I did, why I did it, etc., go for it. If you'd like to know anything about what went down but don't want to stir shit up about anyone else, feel free to PM me, although I'm trying to make it clear that I'm trying to make this a thread were we can all tell each other what we did as well as the motives we had for doing so without getting into verbal arguments, just a civil clarification.

And I'm not doing this to kiss anyone's ass, make-up for my demotion or anything of that sort. Trust me, I couldn't care less. I had the choice of shutting my mouth before to keep my position but I deliberately chose to fight for my dignity and self-respect over my rank.

Yes it was worth it. Like I said in my OP, I could have chosen not to go on and sit down and shut up and keep my rank but I felt that speaking up for what I felt was not right, whether you share that view or not, was much more valuable than being moderator.

And that is why you deserve to be demoted. You care more about insulting me then keeping up the status of a moderator. Chewbaka clearly wasn't happy with me either but he managed to do it in a manner that wasn't disrespectful to his superiors or breaking the rules. You really don't deserve to be a moderator if you care so little about it.

You're right about that; meaning, I was right to say they were spamming, obviously because they were punished for it. But what I don't realize yet is why The Elite replied on wale's thread the other day saying his posting was fine and let him be but then they both get limited? Is it fine or is it not?

And I can't help it if I was a bit aggressive but when management doesn't see a problem with something that a lot of others, such as staff, members and myself are seeing, it get's irritating that nothing is being done. So, I took matters into my own hands.

Lastly, I'm sorry if you think the way I speak is above average but this is just the way I formulate my senses. Unlike a lot of the members on this forum, they speak to their friends and family differently that they speak. I write as the words come into my head. I haven't know you for much long so I don't expect you to know that. But if you'd like to ask The Elite --he knows me from another forum and can vouch that I always speak this way, on MSN too.

I'm not here telling you that I want my spot back am I? I'm aware that what I did was asking to be demoted. We're on the same page about that. And just so you know, it's not so much that I cared about insulting you, it's that I wanted to send a message that if someone like a moderator on RG can me as unselfish to risk his rank in order to stand for something, all of the other members that have less to lose should be able to do so as well.

You're obviously not understanding what I'm telling everyone in this thread if you think I'd have just sit there and not do anything about the way you were posting. I already said it several times; I'd much rather speak my mind about something that bothers me than keep my position and pretend it doesn't bother me, which is why I'm not mad that I was demoted. It was a choice to pursue you.

I couldn't have cared less about the contest. If you would have been posting like you were even with the contest as bait, I would have still told you off and asked you to calm down. I tried using the contest to show people that you were spamming, when in fact you were and you know it, otherwise, The Elite wouldn't have punished you. The verdict has spoken.

And I wasn't really paying attention to Crysis's posts as much but someone on staff told me he was just as bad as you so sure, I guess he's not any better.

Things got blown outa proportion and They know it

Key things a Admin/Staff/mod needs

-Keep their cool
-Respect all users equally Without favoring users over others
-Use what they got to show users are outa of line Ex: pm or warn the user if they are doing something wrong Limit or ban if its more severe
-Learn the rules and Abide by them and enforce them

It's really not that hard
It's just people get power drunk or They just start hating people or w.e
Or its their time of the month What ever their reason was

I don't give a fuck what the reason was stuff can always be dealt with


In their situation Mike got accused of adding points to crysis
Mike should have just said No I did not and told the user to read how users can get points
Because it CLEARLY says how if you click the god damn points thing

And all the staff/mods w.e you guys did not need to make threads Saying OMG HE WAS SPAMMING
You guys coulda just removed the posts pmed the kid said stop spammign higher your quality
If he kept at it just warn him 10% And if he kept at it yadayada

Whoever punished you, it means that all of us that said you were spamming were right. And you can't deny it otherwise you're essentially saying that Mike was wrong to punish you.

It means something to me, of course, just not more than my principles. I'd risk my rank on a forum any day to say what I have to say.

No, I didn't stop your spamming with all my attempts but that was the idea. I was trying to draw enough attention to you so that everyone would realize that you were indeed spamming. Once they'd have realized, I wouldn't be alone on this. But that didn't work, because no one was speaking up.

When did I call them a liar for banning me for spamming? I disagree that it was spam because the help documents say otherwise. It is up to them to give me a ban, if they wanted to it could have been a simple "don't like you"... I get why we got banned but I think the reason was wrong. Disagreeing and calling someone are different.

If anything I'm surprised your not limited for flaming...

Thanks @"Unspoken", I kept forgetting what TL;DR means, but yes that took a long time to read and I had already read some. Agree to the contest, Relapse we want you online, will be insane waiting for results, anyways, not to get off-topic or anything..

Maybe there should be clearer rules next time, 5-10% deduction of points for multiple messages that classify as spam. (Only applies to those ahead)

If Mike bans you for spamming and you say you didn't spam, I'm sorry, that's calling someone a liar, or saying you don't believe what they're saying. Phrase it however you want, but that's what its implying. And I didn't write the help documents man, but someone that did contribute to them (Mike) reviewed your case and decided to ban you. You can't get any more clear than that.
