Kudos?

It's not about what we use it for, it is who uses it. Not everyone uses it because they either:

A.) Don't realize it exists.

B.) Don't care to use it to show how someone is helpful.

C.) They plain just don't give a shit.

I think if we somehow integrate it with rules that it would help with newcomers to start seeing the use of it. I know it may seem like it is a silly plugin, but really it shows how much people look at what you are saying.
 
@Ecstasy your making a big deal out of such a little thing. Its just Kudos, who really cares? I dont give a shit, I dont give out kudos a lot anymore, if someone is helpful, either quote them in a post, kudos or PM them. Kudos isnt the only option.

No I don't?

I could care less about my kudos count. I just hate how it is abused/never used so I addressed it for thoughts. Nothing to fight over or to gain anything out of.
 
I get them when people enjoy a post of mine. I don't expect to write "penis" and have a dick load.

Exactly my point. I don't want it to be abused. I want it to be shown that it has its uses. I wish I could put it in a different perspective for a lot of you to understand what I am trying to say.
 
I think kudos is sorta based on reputation or respect, it's either someone likes you or your post is funny.

I've only just joined, but the Kudo system seems like a pretty interesting idea. I don't know how much it gets used, but I feel like it's nice to have it there.
