It might be a scam, but I don't think that.
Everyone wants to get money, including the guy that made Invisible Children.
But with all the people following it, I'm pretty sure that they'll make government do something about it.
No one wants that there is evil in the world, pretty sure you don't want that, so don't think it is a scam.

And remember, it is not the evil that the bad guy does, it is the indifference that the good guy shows.
