Washington, July 13 (ANI): Justin Bieber is being sued for 9.23 million dollars by a woman who claims that the noise at one of his concerts permanently damaged her hearing.
According to the suit, Stacey Wilson Betts had taken her daughter to see Bieber's show in Portland, Oregon two years ago in July.
Betts claimed that it was incredibly loud inside the arena thanks to Bieber's shrieking fans ... but Bieber made it much more worse when he climbed into a "heart-shaped aluminum/steel gondola" which was pulled out into the crowd, TMZ.com reported.
In the suit, Betts claimed that Bieber "created a wave like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena. He then enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion."
She said that the gondola acted as a "sound conductor creating a sound blast that permanently damaged both of my ears."
As a result, Betts claimed that she now suffered from tinnitus ... which causes a constant pulsing, whooshing sound that makes it hard to sleep.
She also complained of other hearing-related damage.
Betts is suing Bieber along with his record label, the concert promoter and the arena, demanding 9.23 million dollars in damages. (ANI)
