Nice. I haven't been on my Xbox in a while to play games. Mostly just for Netflix recently. Haven't been on my PS3 in an even longer time (Don't like as much as 360).

I enjoy playing the COD games though.

I actually had that happen to me when MW2 was the new and awesome thing. So I just bought the downloadable version of MW2 so I don't have to worry about a disc for it anymore. =p

if you know someone with the disk rip it on to your hard drive then you will not have that problem of a broken disk anymore.

i will have to check with the disk though you can put onto your hard drive of the xbox actually runs the game loads smoother too. (or at least i feel it does) i will check tomorrow after work because i honestly forget how to do it myself lol.

Borrow someones disc. Download it to your hard drive. Then, take your disc and put it in the Xbox. MAKE SURE AUTOPLAY IS OFF! That is a very key step. Next, go to my games, and select MW3. It will say something like "Installed" or something like that. Then just click on it and it'll run. And bam, you got yourself a new MW3.
