JPG vs PNG

Which file extension is better in your opinion, and which do you use most often?
 
PNG of course.Because it is of actual shape as the real image is i.e it will be free of extra colors around the picture
 
PNG isn't all that much bigger, I've had a few occasions where it's been smaller..

JPG is a poor man's PNG.
 
PNG is lossless plus it has transparency that's why I prefer it. JPG is more for photographers than artists as photos are best displayed in JPG format.
 
PNG is the photo equivalent FLAC.
I still use it despite me hating on the "bloatness" of it.
