No, this is totally different case. This has to do with privacy violation with the emails.
I said that they could possibly get them for that, but that is going be hard argue based on the fact they had a legal supenda for the information. I'll be shocked here if PayPal isn't brought in here.

Yeah, I really don't have any knowledge of any type of law. Paypal will for sure be brought into the case.

To be honest, in regard to suing everyone individual that bots, this is possible but very not likely. Multiple individuals can be sued in a class action lawsuit. However, when you're talking about 200,000 people, I don't think they have the time to open thousands of class actions. We all know 200,000 people are not going to fit in one court room.
I'm sure their attorneys have made this clear to them that they are not doing this. The amount of manpower to be spent and the money that would be thrown away is outrageous. They wouldn't have one judge for all of the class actions either, meaning that they most likely wont win everyone of them.
It really comes down to the intention when you're discussing damaging business. I don't think there are many if at all botters that thought they were damaging the business. This lawsuit could fly with goldfarmers who have hundreds or thousands of accounts like myself, but not someone who just used an automated process to level. If they were to sue 200,000 people the court system would eventually tell them to fuck off. They have serious lawsuits to do and this just creates more backlog.
Also, a lot of people use fake information on PayPal. So the information PP has is incorrect, meaning more time and money spent on a lost cause. You cannot sue a nonexistent person.
