Item arrived at Post Office.

So I ordered something off Ebay not too long ago.
Postal Product:priority Mail 2-Day™
Well like 10 minutes ago it said he arrived at my Post Office that is like 5 minuts away from me (walking distance)
Now it says i have to wait an extra TWO days for them to ship it to my house..

Can I just walk there and pick it up?
If i can, what do i need to show/tell them so they know Its mine?

PLEASE HELP! :D
 
If you go to the post office, find out if it is still at the facility, if so, ask her if you are able to obtain the package personally so you won't have to wait, if she states yes, she MUST ask you for correct billing address, name on package, and probably where is it coming from, if she asks all that questions its a MUST that she gives it to you.. good luck!

off topic: what you order that you cant wait? :p just curious!

I'm pretty sure you can go and pick it up if you have the conformation number and your name/address.

I did that last year when I got my iPhone 5. I went to the shipping facility and they handed me my package.

Yeah dude, if it's yours they have to give it to you.

But you need a form of ID. If you don't they won't give it to you.

Well, that and any form of ID (ex. permit, drivers license).
 
Would my school ID be enough? It should the school and my name and picture?

I believe it has to be a State ID not School ID but I am not sure if that would work or not.

Like I said, you may use ANY forum of identification.

So yes, you may use your school ID.

No problem Curse.

I know for a fact that any forum of identification that verifies a persons name and address may be used to pick up a package.
 
the thing is they apparently do sorting with the items and stuff its 5 min away from my house also and they take an extra day or two to send it over.
 
I dont think it ships to the one right near you i think its the main branch then they sort it out and ship it where it needs to go. But you could always try :)
 
they should give it to you if you show proof, its happened to me
