Is there a way to get the collectors edition perks (of GTA V) onto my console for free? or just get the cars? Can I do a license transfer or whatever they're called?

You can do a license transfer but you could be at risk of getting banned. Just did a search on it and apparently people are getting banned for doing this and scammed by people who say they can do it for them. Be careful.

a license transfer involves like what? I never really understood. but you usually give temporary access to your account.

A license transfer is when you :

1. Recover the account with the DLC you want onto your xbox
2. Go to account managment
3. Click on License Transfer
4. If it's available click A for continue
5. It transfers licenses to your console
6. Press A again to visit their download history
7. You download whatever they have that you want to your console

on xbox one it's different.

1. Go to settings
2. go down to "Home xbox"
3. Click "Make this my home xbox"

now you can download and use anything that that account has.

you can only do this once because when they change there home xbox you lose everything you License transferred off of them.
