Well I think there is more than one universe, so no I don't think its infinite

But what would divide our universe from a different universe?

Yes & no. The universe is not infinite, but it is ever expanding. I don't believe anything can handle unlimited, as frankly it's impossible. The human mind is incapable of understanding it past its basic meaning. We can't understand how anything could ever be unlimited. Therefore, the inside of black holes, the universe, and such (in my opinion) or finite, but very large & expanding.

As for black holes, that's another debate for another time. :p

Sources - I once emailed an astronomy professor, and asked him a question just like this. I also used my own logic. :p

I believe it goes on for ever

From what I've learned/been told, this is correct. The Universe is finite, but it is ever expanding. Apparently it will at some point stop expanding and begin contracting. After all existing matter contracts back into one mass I believe it's supposed to cause another big bang or something like that. At that point, all of the matter will be strewn about recreating the universe, which will then expand seemingly infinitely all over again.

Keep in mind that this is just a theory.

Yes, the universe is ever expanding as Reaper said.
FUCK YOUR CLAIM.

Oh yeah, and then it collapses in on itself. But, the exact opposite of the Big Bang... Uh, what do we call that... The unbig bag?

The big kaboom?

The uh oh we're dead? :p

Who cares, we'll be long gone by then anyways if that is what really happens.

Highly debatable topic :/ ... I'd have to go with it being finite but ..

Our universe is expanding at a perfect rate, to fast and we'd die, to slow and we'd die.

its just like thor. we live in realms. and we are just one of the FEW. endless numbers

To think of infinite you think of unlimited

Unlimited space I highly doubt

So I don't think the universe is infinite

There are many many universes, but then whats outside of them?..

The Universe is not infinite, but it's for-ever expanding.

We are only capable of understand what our brain can process, but it could more than likely be infinite.

Everything is infinite, we just haven't found a way to do it yet.

To me I like to think of the universe as X

It has X amount of space in it
We don't know the size of the universe so We cant say its Large or small or Infinite
So in reality The universe is X

But In my opinion I would say its not infinite because I don't Believe in any thing thats infinite
So yea=)
