Is my hard drive fucked?

I cannot boot my computer at all. My computer prior to not working was freezing up and whenever it freezed up and I restarted it would run chkdisk. I ran chkdisk today and it found a bunch of corrupt files and now I cannot boot my computer without saying I need to "Insert boot media." Is this my hard drive that is fried?

It depends, I would need to see some logs. Do you have any? It sounds like your Windows partition is corrupt, you can try to recover it. I'd recommend a good linux recover disk, and if you can't. Then try to install a linux distro on it and see if it boots, if it does then it's obviously not the hard drive, but this is a last resort. First could I see some logs?
