Yes but that doesn't mean you do unnecessary things for said post count.

I haven't been here long enough to notice spammers but if they're doing as you say they are, it would bug me.

You become renown on a forum not for the amount of posts you tally up at the end of the day but rather by the quality of those posts.

It annoys me to see people try and raise their post count by posting irrelevant and low-quality posts. It just seems kind of cheap to the other members. You may think since I have so many posts that I am guilty of this myself...but I try to make most of my posts a decent quality and not to post entirely irrelevent things on people's threads. I do admit I am guilty of it sometimes. But, so is everyone else.
