is good to listen music with headphone?

I am thinking that the use of headphone is not good for health and thinking to listen music by speaker,so what do you think about the listening of music by headphone?

yes i am doing th same thing everytime i get bored.. because i dont want to disturb others by my songs that's why i listen with my headphone but if i am the only one around i paly those songs so loud

Well it is said that listening to music using headphones can lead to deafness. But then again headphones are useful in some circumstances like when you wanna listen to music in public places like in a car or bus.

I think using headphones is alright as long as we do it minimally and we turn down the volume a bit.
