If I get a nulled version of IPB, can I host it offshore and not have any problems with it?

Well hosting it off-shore can help you from MOST issues.
It really depends on if the hosting actually allows it, some off-shores do not.
But if they do, you're alright.

Lol I've never seen it done, but is it pretty common to do this?
