recently my friend social engineered the instagram and the original owner proclaims that he will get the account suspended if i don't give it back or whatever. Knowing me i don't like taking chances. Can he actually get it back / get my accounts banned?

I dont know much, but unless he has original information he cannot do anything.

He's the original owner, of course he has the original info.
He could probably do something to that one account but not to your other accounts unless instagram decides to kill every account linked to your IP.

Never had it happen to me, but unlikely. I doubt they'd IP ban you over this. Maybe just try to bribe the OG owner to not go to staff?

If he just keeps reporting you over and over the staff may think it's suspicious and not help him. Hopefully your friend can BS the staff well enough to allow you to keep the account if staff talks to him about it
