If FK Goes Down [READ]

If Forum Korner goes down to a cloudflare page like it has been, lots of the time can fixed by flushing your DNS and clearing history from the past week.


Flush DNS Windows:
Go into command prompt and type.

ipconfig /flushdns

Flush DNS Mac:
Go into terminal and type.

lookupd -flushcache

Honestly I don't know what this would do. It's probably going down due to DDoS attacks, meaning the server can't handle all the incoming connections. Clearing DNS wouldn't do anything :S

Yeah, I just did that actually and it came back up. I didn't think the site was down, I just thought it was my horrible internet connection. It's been giving me issues with anything and everything anyways. Thanks for this post though, I'm sure most people will appreciate it if they see it next time and will actually know what to do.
