I want to lose at least 10kg. What should I do?

I gained a lot of weight in last few years due to a busy lifestyle. I was fat since I was a child and I tried doing a lot of diets before but none of them gave me a good result. My weight just became like a yo-yo. I think being fat is in my genes but is there anything I can do to loose some of it? I don't dream of having a sexy star like figure but I just want to have a healthier looking body. I want to lose at least 10kg. What should I do? What's the best way to loose weight and keep it off for good.:Blush:

good day, me too i dont want to get fat also when i noticed that im gaining i starting to diet i eat only little and i eat rice only for my lunch and for my dinner i usually eat bread and veggies or fruits and had a glass of fresh milk before i going to sleep. why not try to jogging everyday because i had a friend who do it everday and she get the result she lose her weight.

Thank you for that. Well, I'm lazy to jog and I find it boring but I will try it sometime. :Laugh:

Try to play sports you love, if you don't like sports then, when you workout remember your goal. Never give up, don't lose hope because it will help even if it's boring/intense. Also, eating less and healthier will also help.

Don't be lazy and try the following advice I give to you:

When I was 21 years old, I was weighting 84 kg. It was too much for my body. Then, I decided to make a promise that I will lose my weight, since April 2011. I didn't do nothing, before I have a course. I didn't eat too much food, I walk a lot and I drink water. I lost 10Kg in 2 months, before June. Remember: don't eat too much, drink a lot of water, walk a lot on a long way, go to the bathroom and then, your hard work will be good. Try this like me. I hope this helps.

You are beautiful but you will be more beautiful if you try this with good will power. Try like me. If you feel bored, listen your music with MP3 or MP4 or IPad or Iphone, whatever gadget you have, when walking. Good luck!
 
i have fat family also, look like it from the gene. i have lost 14 kg before, what i do is like below, but you must keep discipline of it.
1. do exercise like walking at least 4-5 KM / day, better in the morning also do swimming if you can swimming, at least 1 / week
2. reduce carbohydrate food, such as rice. also don't eat anything after 8 PM
3. drink a lot water, yes clear water. at least 2-4 lt a day
4. if you hungry and need a snack during the day, you better get fruit like apple,banana,etc
5. sleep well thru the night, don't stay awake until midnight

hope you can discipline of it and stay in shape :)

The only thing thats worked for me long term is to reduce calories and increase exercise. It took me 10 months to lose 40 pounds, but Ive kept it off for two yrs by watching my calorie intake (I stay at 1500) and doing moderate exercise at least 3 days a week for 30 min.

Most Doctors say that you should eat less carbohydrates, sugar and fats. As well having a moderate exercise to lose calories and fats, and eat fruits and vegetables on everytime you eat. Drink multivitamins also to help also your body absorb the needed nutrients from what you eat.
 
Well to reduce 10 kg is not a joke and i say it is not impossible also. The first thing you need is the strong determination to reduce your weight do exercise, do not eat between meals, drink water a lot. And don't consume carbohydrate and fats a lot. That could help u. :)
 
you should drink milk at night when you feel hungry. Milk is quite heavy in the stomach. Drink plenty of water and avoid eating so much pastas, rice and meat, and eat plenty of vegetables instead. If you are lazy to do the exercise, a simple waist twist will do. Avoid eating much of sweet foods like cookies, chocolates. Eat more fruits then. Have 6-8 hours of sleep and don't be so depressed because sometimes being depressed we use to go to eat outside just to forget. Have discipline to yourself. I am starting gaining weight and now starting to discipline myself as well. Hope it works to us! ;)

You can control obesity if you eat fresh fruits and vegetables instead of fast food. Moreover, you should drink plenty of water, and do physical exercise on a regular basis.
 
i think you should head to a gym if you want to lose large amount of weight. you should lessen foods high in cholesterol and when you are in a grocery store, always check for the nutritional contents of the foods you are going to buy. but remember, you should not binge whenever you feel hungry or all you're efforts will be wasted. goodluck losing weight! :Devil::Devil::Devil:
 
I am on a weight loss mission as well and the following routine has made me lose 2 pounds a week for the last month.

1) High protein breakfast at 8am : 6 egg whites, some oatmeal or a slice of toast, 100 ml skim milk.
2) Mid morning snack at 11 am: an apple or any low calorie fruit.
3) Lunch : 2 rotis, Indian dal, steamed vegetables / salad, cup of yogurt. If you are a non-vegetarian, have grilled fish or chicken instead of rotis.
4) Tea time : herbal tea or sugarless regular tea with 2-3 wholewheat crackers.
5) Dinner: salad, soup, wholegrain bread or soya rotis, vegetable curry, chicken/fish.
6) Supper: 100 ml milk, a serving of fruit.

Eat such small meals 6 times a day. In addition to this, do any workout that helps you burn atealst 300 calories a day. If you create a deficit of 3500 calories in your body, you lose a pound so do the math and work accordingly. All the best. :)
 
if really want to lose weight and being a yoyo everytime your loosing weight. diet in natural ways. like exercise and don't eat too much carbohydrate. don't take any slimming pill or coffee or tea what so ever because taking all kinds of slimming materials have a rebound effect once you stop it. in short if ever you're taking slimming pill until you reach weight that you want after sometimes you will gain weight again and sometime double your size before you take it. its up to you if you will believe in me but thats true
 
I think you have to do lots of exercise every day and have to go for long walk or even you can ran for an hour per day,if you do these you will lose the weight.
