Hello lads, it feels good to be back but I'm making this post to ask for some guidance provided that the sensible people reply to this thread...
I'm currently going to take a national exam and believe or not, the biggest problem is what school route to take after the exams.
I've already got a path to a above average pre-university based on my talent of football, so regardless of my score of the exam, I can still go to that school. That school is where I have set my heart since last year and many of my VERY close friends are going them with me, based on my persuasion they also opted to follow me.
However, I am now on the last stage (interview) to receive a scholarship from an average international school under the International Baccalaureate route, however I fear snobby rich kids who will piss me the fuck off while I'm there and I don't know many people there.
So on a very serious note (the fact that I've come to an internet forum for an answer is already quite surprising), please guide me on what would be a better option...
To be happy with my friends in a regular pre-university route and probably do well for the national exams OR to risk being unhappy with people I don't know and score average/well in an international examination?
Much love for all the help and I hope you lads will be helpful.

Most people say do what makes you happy. I agree with that. Sometimes you have to think about your future. How stacked is your bank account? You cant rely on Football

I don't intend on becoming a football player in future, I have actual plans for other occupations, its just a way to get into the school. And I'm not particularly VERY rich but the pre-university has government subsidies so its not expensive other than books, unlike the international school.

hey you do ib too!

(im guessing you go to an international school? if so me too :) )

anyways, i suggest you go to the university with all your friends, after-all uni is all about the experiences and the people you meet.

goodluck.
