HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio

Taiwanese handset manufacturer HTC has officially unveiled its new Beats audio packing handset as the HTC Sensation XL is made official running Google's Android mobile operating system


HTC Sensation XL Specs

Alongside the handset’s hefty 4.7-inch 800 x 480p WVGA display, the Sensation XL will play host to a 1.5GHz Qualcomm single core processor backed up by 768MB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

On the multimedia front the newly unveiled HTC Sensation XL is to boast an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera with a low light specialising wide angle f/2.2 28mm lens alongside dual LED flash. A second 1.3-megapixel snapper can be found round the front whilst 720p HD video recording capabilities are bolstered by stereo audio.

Packing a high-end audio punch the Sensation XL benefits from fully attuned Beats audio technology and will come boxed with a pair of in-ear Beats headphones.

Carphone Warehouse is the first out of the hat to announce that it will be stocking the HTC Sensation XL and the handset will be available to buy from November 2nd.

First, beats are shitty Chinese headphones sold for $600 because they have Dre's name on them.

Second, why have a 4.7-in screen when the average smartphone user holds the phone with one hand, and the thumb can't even reach that far?

ANDROID phones are generally very cheaply made. This is shown because manufacturers come out with new ones every damn day. There's a reason it take Apple a year or more to release one device.

It's a waste.

TBH I think the only company that makes new models too frequently is HTC but I still know which one I want.
It also gives customers a choice of what specs they want. EG a small phone, a big phone ... etc

Ive never had an issue with the build quality of any HTC, even when I had this ancient HTC which came free with BT internet, so I dont see a problem there.
Apples screens always seem to be breaking, found a picture of the new 4S with a smashed screen already.

Again ive never actually heard any Beats hardware, but its not going to be shit if Dre decided to brand his name.
And yer I agree, the basic earphones cost more than the standard headphones. Like WTF?

Finally, my bad, I didnt really read the size, thought it was the standard 4.3" screen. I almost dropped mine just trying answer it xD

All glass screens will break if you throw them as hard as you can on the ground. When you sell a million units in the first 24 hours, you're bound to have a few break.

Beats are utter shit, even if Dre's name is on them. It's his money making scheme.

iPhones seem to break more because too many kids have them, and they are overprivileged and don't care about their devices, they know they'll just get a new one, so they throw them around like wild animals.
