Also, if you pass the AP exam after the course you get college credit for that class.
 
I took a few college courses in HS. I apparently have 3 college credits for culinary arts.

Shit, my bad. My school's a bit different about it, 'cause we're about International Baccalaureate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Baccalaureate), or IB, which I guess is sort of the same thing.
