how to tell if tenure is real?

how do you tell if someone has a legit 9 year or a modded one?

you can by using xbox.com or calling.
 
Support chat, have the gamertag and email ready.
They'll verify the accounts' specs, both tenure and gamerscore.
 
Check the game history, it is probably the most accurate way.

If you don't have access the most accurate way is the game history. And the much easier way over anything. Don't even have to login.

Not necessarily....For example, creating an account 9 years ago and not have GOLD or only applies 12 Months of XBLive only, does not make it a "9 Year Tenure".

So your saying looking at the day the account was created will not tell you how old the account is.. lol

Tenure is how long that account has has gold for right?
 
You can just call them and they'll tell you but if it's not what it's supposed to be they might reset you or something, I'm not sure.
