Computers are getting more and more into our everyday lives. They are used in schools, workplaces and homes due to the convenience that it give the user. Many people these days are trying to type fast in order to finish the task faster, which will save time.

There are simple ways to help you improve your typing. These are:

* Going to a store and buying a software that teaches you.
* Playing online games that require typing. This is what taught me to type fast.
* Try to remember where the keys are, when you know where the keys are you can effortlessly type like a pro.
* Write a story – without looking at the keyboard. Even though you will make errors, you can learn really fast by doing this.
* Get into computers, try to understand how they work, what they can do. This might sound weird, but it will work.
* Learn spelling. You don’t want to be hitting backspace or delete every time you make a spelling error.

By using a combination of these methods, you can type fast and accurately. Impress your friends and family.

Thank you for reading this guide.

7 Year's of RuneScape and MSN got me to type fast :)

Runescape was how I learnt how to type decently. :p

Yeah play RuneScape, you will have fun + without noticing, type extremely much faster. Got me up to 120 words per minute.

Runescape, MSN and having to write 2k word essay for English.

when i was in year 7 we had to have touch typing lessons for about 30mins during our ICT lesson, and that went of for a whole term which was about 13 weeks -.-, but i caught on easily and it took me less than a week to touch type the rest was to learn how to type quickly but, what doesn't help me is being dylixsic, so it is harder for me to type faster because i would have to go back and re-spell it. But i think i type about 25-30 words per minute, which atm is quite slow -.-

Yeah like holy, gaming got my to type fast.
we actually had a typing class in my school, i tried taking it.. but all they say is where to put your hands, not actually typing fast.

Learning 2 type by playing games is pr0 :) tht how I did mines :p

I never had typing classes. Interesting.

Typing classes made my back hurt, my hands hurt and made me resent learning how to type "The right way".

I typed faster than my teacher anyway, learn how to type fast your own style.

I played MapleStory and Combat Arms by Nexon, since those are fast paced games (when in the correct environment of course, such as a boss battle in a PQ in MapleStory or fast paced action in Combat Arms) I had to type fast, and so my typing speed increased over time and it's pretty good. I don't like the way software teaches you how to type lol. Typing challenges online and Facebook help a lot too!
