I don't know if you got this resolved or not but when I reset my Asus laptop to Factory Settings, I had to press one of the F# keys on the keyboard whilst booting.
It then let me start it as if I was just reinstalling it, what partition, accounts, WIFI etc.
& It should be on Google tbh.
