This I made on another site.

What you need is a PSP (1000, 2000, 3000), a computer, USB data transfer cable, reading skills, a pair of glasses, and these instructions.

Mind you what you do with your PSP is entirely your fault, if your PSP BRICKS in anyway while doing this, you are the responsible.

1. Go to these links and download what's provided:
PSP downgrader:

Code:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=2094

PSP OFW:

For 7g 6.20 for non- PSP go models:
Code:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1855
For 7g/9g 6.35 for non PSP go models:
Code:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=2036

PSP CFW:

For 6.20:
Code:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=2079
For 6.35:
Code:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=2078

Instructions:

This was done with a 9g PSP 3001.
1. You can save all of your SAVES to your hard drive of your computer for later use. But just to be safe, go to factory defaults and delete your games , saves, photos etc. Go in to the folder where the data is, dont just delete the folders them selves, that's how your PSP menu works.

2. Put the OFW in a folder directory like this
PSP/GAME/UPDATE

In there put your OFW 6.20(7g) or OFW 6.35(7g/9g).

3. Put the Downgrader in as
PSP/GAME/63x Downgrader/

4. Disconnect your PSP, if you did the 2 and 3 correctly, you should see the downgrader working for your PSP. When it starts you should agree to everything that it says.If done right you'll get to the OFW installation.

5. Afterwards you plug your PSP back up to your computer and put in the CFW eboots in your game folder (depending on your PSP you put the correct CFW according to your downgraded OFW.)

6. The CFW should ask about pressing X twice.

Enjoy your newly released PSP... Happy hacking.
