Quick and simple tut on how to play Gameboy Advance games on your PC or Mac.
You can download whatever emulator you want, I'm just gonna use the Gameboy Advance one for this tut because it's the one I'm currently using to play games I want to play.

Things you'll need:
  • VGBA (Visual Game Boy Advance)
  • Game you want to play

1) Download VGBA

2) Download the game that you want
(Ex: Pokémon Emerald - http://coolrom.com/roms/gba/14604/Pokemon_Emerald.php)

3) Un-zip both files

(TIP: Make a folder named "VGBA Games" and put the emulator and all your games on there, to make it more organized so that you know where all your games are and where to look for them)

4) Open up VGBA
Should look like this :

And click File > Open... > Pokémon Emerald.gba

5) Play the game.
To save the game at any point what-so-ever, click File > Save Game > Chose a slot 1-10.
Do the same thing with the 'Load Game' option if you ever wanna load a game that you saved.

I used Pokémon Emerald as an example, you can do this with any game for GameBoy Advance that is on the ROM list.

Enjoy.

I'm aware, but I use VGBA because it seems to run the smoothest for me.

It is the least glitchiest, but if you add the other ones the thread would be a lot better as it gives people a variety and allows them to pick which one they would like.
