In this tutorial I will be showing you how you will be receiving a 1600 refund on your Minecraft for Xbox 360 game. You will still be able to keep the game! It's an easy thing to do for a quick 1600!

YOU MUST HAVE PURCHASED THE GAME BEFORE MAY 11TH FOR THIS TO WORK.

Ok, as you know. Minecraft promised that you could play splitscreen with people at your home.. Well they lied, you need an HDTV to do this, so what Xbox is doing, is they're giving out refunds for people that supposedly have a Standard definition TV and you purchased it before the 15th of May. So here is a tutorial on how to do this method..

Tutorial

1. You're going to want to go to http://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us and click 'Games' and then 'Other' and then click 'Chat with Microsoft Support' You will be given a hold time.

2. Once you've got into a chat with an agent, simply tell them 'I'd like a refund because I purchased Minecraft and they promised me that I'd get to play Splitscreen, this is a lie. I wanted to play with my cousin and it said I couldn't.'

3. They will ask if you have purchased the game before the 11th, you simply say, 'Yes, I have'. Try to be as polite as possible!

4. They will give you your refund in a matter of minutes in time, they will stay in the chat until you've confirmed you've gotten them.

DO NOT DO THIS MORE THAN ONCE, THEY WILL CATCH YOU AND YOU'LL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM XBOX LIVE.

If this has worked for you guys (which it will), please post a vouch below.

Enjoy your free 1600 and ability to keep the game!

Vouch! This worked 100% for me in a matter of minutes.

Also, if you purchased Minecraft after the 11th of May, don't bother with this because it will not work.

Blur.. Lol.. This is what this whole thread is about...

This seems a bit sketchy to me, if everyone is doing this, they will eventually catch on and fix it.

There is nothing sketchy about it. Think about it, you are simply acting as an angry customer who wants their money back because you couldn't access features that you were told you could.

I heard that if you are caught playing it then they will ban you.

You heard that. The refund is because you were mad about not being able to play split-screen. They expect you to still play the game.

Exactly what Ocean said.. They're not going to ban you, you got a refund because there was no split-screen..

They don't expect you to stop playing...

You clearly don't understand what a refund is then. If you are not happy with something you bought, you bring it back, and get your money back. They will not give you your money back, and then let you keep the item.

Yes, actually you will be able to....

They're refunding all the people that purchased it before the 11th.

They even say themselves you keep it, so please.

Don't come in trashing my thread again, you have no idea what you're saying.

Try it out please....

This is no different than the account transfer glitch that got patched a year or two ago, they will eventually catch on, and you will not be able to play Minecraft anymore.

Xbox support has already confirmed that you do not get to keep the game afterwords, so this will be considered a glitch, and all glitches get patched.

No, see you're completely wrong and have no idea what you're saying tbh..

They take away the liscence transfer so you won't be able to play anymore...

I'm done arguing..

Please add this to OP.

Here is the difference between a normal refund and what we are doing: With a normal refund, you get your money back and give them back the game. However, we are demanding a refund because we were "lied" to by Mojang. Mojang said that we could play split-screen, but when we tried to play split-screen, it would not let us because we don't have an HD TV. Therefore, we are demanding our money back. My support agent didn't even mention anything about the license. If they didn't want me to play the game anymore, then they would've taken away my license to play it.

Microsoft could care less about what Mojang said and the demanded refunds. They will not give back your money, and let you keep the license for the game. I doubt you still have the license to Minecraft on your account, but you can still play it for a time. This has happened before, and was patched in time. If you still have the license however, then someone has made a mistake.

@Cute You clearly have no idea what your talking about and don't listen to valid proof. I will be closing this thread since Xbox staff have denied your claim.

If other staff thing I have wrongly closed this thread, they can re-open it, but I recommend that no one attempt this if you would like to keep Minecraft forever.

Okay, fair enough. People, try this at your own risk.

Ok seriously Hayden? You don't know what you're talking about! If they would of wanted the game back they would of taken it back already because I did this back on the 20th of May.

Show me valid proof that they take the game back. You can't because there is none. They will simply remove the liscense transfer and you won't be able to give it to friends....

THAT'S BEEN CONFIRMED. You have no proof what so ever so please remain off this thread..
