How to change your 'last logged in ip' (client sided)

Bored, decided to make a thread. I've been away for awhile.

Navigate to 'C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc' and open the hosts file. You might need to run your text editor as an administrator.

On the next available line write <your WAN IP> <what you want it to say>

If you don't know your IP or know how to get it you need to leave these forums and go play club puinguen.

So if my ip was 12.34.56.78 and I wanted it to say Jagex I'd write

12.34.56.78 Jagex
Save and relogin to RuneScape.

Have fun? Remember its only shows for the people who have done this to your host file.

So if you had a victim and then edited his host file you could spoof the last login to a name or another ip.

Changin your computer name worked for me too back in day, not sure if thats still possible not bothering anymore since i use vpns.
 
Even if it's just for show, I still think it's cool and I didn't know you could do this. Thanks OP :)
