[How to] Change your Gamertag for FREE!

Hey guys, I've been trying to find ways to change a Gamertag without having to hassle money around and buy yourself MSP. This way has been tested and works. Please rep me positively!

1. Change your last name on the account to something related to your gamertag. (for example, my gt is 'factory321' make your last name in your account info 'factory')

2. Contact an Xbox representative and tell them that you do not feel safe having your Gamertag associated with your personal info (having your Gamertag related to your personal information is not allowed as listed in Xbox's Code of Conduct)

3. Be nice and after a few minutes of discussing it they will ask you if you'd like a force name change on your account, agree and go along.

4. That's all there is too it, the name change may take a while to come up, as it has taken a day or two for some of my accounts.

**TRY TO CHANGE YOUR NAME A FEW DAYS BEFORE MAKING THE MOVE, THEY CAN CHECK WHEN YOUR NAME WAS CHANGED, THE TRICK.. GET A NICE AGENT **


THIS MAY OR MAY NOT WORK WITH BANNED GAMERTAGS!

Do you know how old this is? very ineffective way, unless it is very obvious if your last name is factory it won't work.
