How to build rep as a new member???

Won't it be very hard for me to do deals etc. since I'm new? How do I build people's trust and what not? Thanks in advance for any advice.
 
Work your way up, be friendly, talk to people!
Once people start to like you, start off doing some small deals. Don't jump right into the expensive, crazy deals just yet, even if you have the budget.
Some people may assume that you're trying to scam if you do that, so start small.

Once you have done some small deals then you can go into bigger deals and then go from there! You won't gain rep very fast, but you can have a good time in the mean time. :)

Exchange your currency to like Bitcoin and deal with that. Doesn't matter who you are, if you're paying with btc, the seller should be down. Unless you're requesting him to go first or some shit.
 
Trust is something that is earned, not given. At least for me, anyway. You could always start by doing deals with non refundable currencies, like Bitcoin.

As long as you have good intentions when doing deals, and continue to do so, people will begin to trust you. Patience and being legit is key.
 
Basically be active on the site. You can still deal with people, but most likely they won't accept PP from you and you will have to go first. After a few successful deals your rep will begin to build and people will be able to DWC (Deal With Confidence). If you are a legit user and plan on staying then you won't have a problem building rep and making friends.

It'll take a long time man, but get to know everyone, be friendly and build your profile between the community. :)

Well from a new user to another just be friendly and HQ. Share stuff and just make friends and that!

Make sure you don't do what an incredibly large amount of people do, rep4rep. This is when someone gives someone reputation with no valid reason, basically when they have never spoken to them but they randomly send them rep, here is an example: Notice the user 'Gor' give reputation here: http://www.forumkorner.com/reputation.php?uid=44556 to 'Cam' and then receive +25 reputation from Cam: http://www.forumkorner.com/reputation.php?uid=43567 Now, I wouldn't say Cam is the bad guy here at all, he just doesn't notice that the person repping him is only doing it for rep back. Make sure you don't do that. I mean, you can; it's just irritating. There's a number of cases I won't mention, just look at basically all the 'Investors' members reputation. Some people are genuinely their friend, and some people are just using them.

I suggest simply completing deals, BTC to start with of course. Try to create a professional image for yourself, and/or just be a nice guy. For example, @marley is purely been a nice guy, and he has gained a lot from it. Reputation will come in time, don't be something you're not in order to obtain it though.

Preach it man. I never rep anyone unless I deal with them, talk to them often, or I win their giveaway.
When I get random rep, I ignore it.

I tend to rep people that I respect and/or have dealt successfully with. I certainly don't throw it around, nor do I use it to get reputation back from others.

when I just got my upgrades I repped some people for nothing, but that's because I just got my upgrades, now I only do it for deals/friends and when someone is very nice to me
 
I would suggest being a cool guy. Their isn't a sure fire way to get rep lol. Just try and be cool.
