How To Allocate More Ram To Minecraft

This tutorial is how to fix this error in Minecraft:

Steps:

1. Create a New text file

2. Type this into the text file:

javaw -Xmx[Amount of MB you want to allocate]m -Xms[Half of the amount before]m -jar "[The location of the Minecraft.exe]"

So Mine would look like this:

javaw -Xmx4096m -Xms2048m -jar "C:\Users\Mxlitary\Desktop\Minecraft.exe"

3. Rename the text file to be Run Minecraft.bat

4. Run the file. You will now have as much RAM as you want.

To check how much RAM you have. Go to the start menu. Right click computer, Click properties and it should say in there. (For Windows 7)
