How do you lose weight?

My wife often teases me because I've gained weight and I couldn't fit on my old clothes anymore. I tried to go on a diet but it seems like I've gained extra pound instead of getting rid of them.

Please share your tips on loosing weight. I will highly appreciate it.
 
I go for a walk everyday to make sure i burn any extra calories. If you are sitting idle at home there are some simple exercise that you can do. Not only will it help you loose weight but it will also keep you healthy.
 
I also loose weight and here is my strategy.

1. Proper eating habits. Dont go for junk food at all. Always eat healthy.
2. Split your meal into 5 times a day(atleast). that is, if you use to eat 3 times a day then split it into 5 times. Eat less amount compared to 3times in such a way that 3times food must = 5times food.
3. Do jogging in morning. Its a must because if you cant burn calories then its waste just by maintaining your diet.
4. Goto Gym if possible or just do some minimal exercise.
5. Take good sleep.

Follow these points and i am sure you would definitely succeed. Also note, It would take time to lose weight. You cant see difference within few days. Give this shot for atleast a month.

When she teases asdk her in the same tune to be a successful doctor and help reducing the weight
 
I am so sorry that you are having problems with weight loss. That can be very frustrating. I had success losing weight with very low carb eating for 3 months after I gave birth and recovered. Now I eat carbs in moderation and am maintaining my pre-pregnancy weight.
 
Losing wight is just eating less junk food and eating more healthy, excersing and sleeping well is important, go to the gym will help improve your health, and a diet is just cutting bad food not all types of food
 
Quiet eating oily foods could be the best option, its the main cause for being fat. I don't know why you gained more fat on dieting but its still the best idea for many people.
 
I lose my weight by staying overnight, eating how much i need but doing regular yoga and meditation. I also do aerobic exercises and jog every day.
 
I get fit by walking and running and drinking plain and hot water. For me, walking is still the best way to lose weight as long as you maintain a daily 30 minutes walks. I have been doing this for more than five years and my weight is always on the ideal level. Try it alone or with friends and you'll enjoy your way in getting fit.
 
Walking helps me burn my overstaying fats while reducing my rice intake ( i am a rice-eating person.). I love eating rice that's why reducing it is a must for me to go hand-in-hand with walking.
 
i losses min weight by doing daily exercise. it is very simple and i play football too to maintain mine body healthy.
 
My recipe to lose weight is very simple. I eat less but more healthy foods such as fish (instead of beef), vegetables (instead of pastas...) and for dessert, i eat more fruits (instead of cakes). I make more sports: Jogging and sometimes just a long walk.

The key of the success is perseverance... :Wink:
 
Cut your favorite fast foods,avoid oily and fried foods...Walk everyday minimum 30 minutes and don't forget to drink 8 glasses of water everyday..Sure you will lose weight...
 
the main thing is first you should have control over your food......in the morning ,have like a kin;g and at evening have like a beggar....
 
Recently I have lost 21 pounds. I did this by doing more workouts. I also counted calories and kept them in a food journal. You can print out free food journals online to help you lose weight.
 
Self discipline is important to lose weight. You need to exercise regularly, have a balanced diet,enough sleep and drink plenty of water. losing weight is not an overnight proce,it will take a lot of motivation to reaCh the goal.
 
regular exercise, jogging, eating less calorie foods, etc.. can be the good idea for loosing the weight..
